The staff was super friendly, helped us with our luggage to our room, showed us the way to the dining hall, and welcomed and served us so well during our stay. Our room was sooo amazing! We ordered the one with a private onsen, and we did not regret it! The view and the onsen were super worth it. You could see Mount Fuji straight from the sofa corner window, and I recommend waking up for sunrise to see the spectacular morning sun on the mountain! They have everything you need in the hotel, and the complementary drinks are so good too! Not like the usual. After dinner time there is a drum show from really muscular men, then a bingo show (with prizes), and after you could get to the lounge area and hear some live piano music. One of the lounge areas also provides free machine drinks, like beer! There is an open public bath downstairs (so big), massage (didn't try), and kimono rentals. At the rooftop, there is another public bath, but it may vary when and which gender it is available for. But it's REALLY recommended to try/see this, so special front view of the mountain. The garden outside is nice too, you could try the footbath area if you want. Breakfast was great, with many dishes to choose from and super service. The staff are so cute and friendly. One of them started a conversation and even gave us some recommendations, we appreciate that! Not the best with English but we all try to understand each other. They provided free bus rides to the nearest train station and other places for their customers on their way home.

We arrived before check-in time and the staff was very accommodating! While we waited for our room to get ready we could explore the property and also take part in a tea ceremony to pass the time. When everything was ready for us, we were guided by a very kind lady who explained the workings of the hotel/ryokan and even served us tea and snacks in the room. Since the weather was gloomy and rainy, we spent the day at the hotel, which I sensed that can work as a resort-type of place to rest. There's always something to do, and you can also go to the onsen. At night there was a Taiko and Shamisen show for everyone. On our last day we got a beautiful view of Fujisan! You can see it right next to the hotel. Loved staying here, felt like a place to stay for one night and rest from your trip. (Context: I'm not used to staying at fancy places, so everything was pretty amazing to me)

Loved the presentation of the whole hotel -- modern, clean and spacious. The staff were friendly, helpful, and impeccably dressed. The rooftop onsen was lovely and afforded a view of Mt. Fuji. We were even provided with yukatas to wear around the hotel, which were delightful. The room we stayed in was a western-style room without a view of Mt. Fuji (we were hoping to get a more traditionally-styled room with a view, but they were sold-out) and it was fantastic. Again, very spacious, modern and clean with easy to understand instructions for how to operate things and navigate the hotel. The dinner provided has several courses and was delicious. We were very full by the end of it. The bus shuttle service from the hotel was also convenient.

The view of Mount Fuji is wonderful. We had a Japanese style room with private bath tub and mount Fuji view. But you can still see the view from the rooftop onsen or even just popping outside. Even without the view (it was a very cloudy day so we had low expectations) the facilities were plenty to enjoy. The entertainment was also good for our one night stay. The staff were really helpful, showing us the location of different facilities which made it much easier to enjoy it all in the night we were there. I also noticed that they had setup the humidifier already, so it was working without needing to do a thing.

This was our favorite place we stayed at in all of Japan so far. We got a room with a private onsen. It was the biggest room ever and everything was so comfy. From check in-check out was always the friendliest/ seamless experience with the staff. It also included a dinner which we loved. The there is water to drink from the springs and if you are able To catch mt. Fuji it is SO CLOSE TO THE HOTEL! Breakfast was also stellar! They had a fun drum show with bingo afterwards and a great piano show at the bar with a view of the garden. Cannot wait to come back here.
